| Cope is a dog bred by SCL and owned by Michael Wallace of Shawnee KS. Cope was whelped 12/23/2006. In 2008 Cope went 4 for 5 in AKC JH passes and 2 for 2 in AKC SH passes. He went 3 for 4 on a HRC Seasoned title(HR). He passed his APLA CPR on his first attempt and the APR on the first try just 4 points short of a perfect score. Cope did all of this before he was 20 months old and did not start formal hunt test training until he was 17 months old. He is being trained and handled by Mike Lettau of K&L Kennels. In the spring of 2009 he finished his HR title and another SH pass. In the fall of 2009 Cope has finished his AKC Senior Hunter(SH) and his APLA MPR and GMPR as well. He will also work for his HRCH title. He is duel registered with both the AKC and UKC. Both of Cope's parents are EIC clear. Cope's hips are OFA EXCELLENT and elbows are OFA NORMAL. HE is EIC CLEAR. Cope is 69 pounds of muscle with great looks/conformation and disposition. He is laid back in the house but in the field he has drive and excellent field coverage with a staunch natural point while handling to perfection. His pedigree is two of the best pointing lines that exist: GMPR Wannamaker's Hot Tub SH and Swift Creek's Lady Guinevere NBDCA CH. Tub is one of the most heavily used GMPR's for stud siring hundreds of titled pups. Guinevere is an incredible Trieven dog descended from Twist and Shout and Trieven Thunderhead who made the Hall of Fame. She has in excess of 100 all age points. Cope carries 2 black genes and 2 yellow genes(BBee). Every puppy he sires will carry at least 1 black and 1 yellow gene. Cope is available for stud to approved females with a current brucellosis test. We are proud to have Cope available for stud. He truly represents what we are trying to produce at SCL.
