Stella was sired by MPR RattlinRidge's Bronco Bill MH(Willie). Willie is tractable. He has a lot of drive
and desire to retrieve. He is also a stylish upland bird hunter, with natural point. He is extremely intelligent and biddable. He is dark brown and a muscular 70-75 pounds with a good nose. Willie has jammed Derby's and Quals. Maggie is Stella's dam and she has a lot of Maggie in her. Stella has drive and style with a very aggressive water entry. She is fast and intelligent. She @nine months is marking 200+yards to perfection. Stella will run AKC hunt tests in the spring of 2011. She is training with Dan and Missy Heard of Downtown Retrievers. Missy says:"We have 3 young VERY TALENTED, VERY FAST AND EXCEPTIONAL MAKING chocolate dogs".We hope to get her AKC MH title in Fall 2011 just after Stella turns one year old. Several of Stella's litter mates will also compete in 2011 in HRC, AKC, and APLA tests. Three earned AKC JH titles and one an AKC SH and jammed a Derby in 2011. Two hunted pheasants in South Dakota at 5 months of age and were stars among veteran adult pro trained Labs. 4 owners of these pups want another from Maggie's next litter. Stella has a great disposition and loves to work. She also pointed the first bird planted for her. On her first day of water retrieves at 3 months she was leaping 10 feet into the water fearlessly like her dam Maggie. Stella may already be our best dog and is now a year old yet. Stella is EIC/CNM Clear. Her hips/elbows will be tested when she is two years old. Her CERF is current. The sky is the limit for Stella.
